Fruit of The Doom
05:28
|
|||
Down the street,
A battle fought under her feet,
The blood shed spread, oh so discreet,
The bayonet sheath.
Through the town,
Each smile a gunshot for the crown,
Uplifting words to bring her down,
An unsound sound.
The red coat of a rose,
Cannon fodder for his prose,
Aimed at posers he deposed,
If anybody showed him how.
The song birds learn the wrong words,
The flowers guard their wares at pistil point,
No sense to beat around the bush old boy.
No olive branch,
The twigs have snapped,
The peaches deep inside feel pitiful,
The grapes of wrath produce more than a wine.
Words clang like swords,
Towards a heart that's hard to beat,
Handsome hands poorly cover,
A smile that bears its teeth.
No discourse could plot
this course to her core,
Stumped she cuts the poetry
versus her heart no more.
No spear to shake,
To tame the shrew,
Tulips to her,
Two lips may do.
Time now for slumber
Love so deep its six feet under
Why write the prose
Just decompose
And maybe he'll be the flower that he chose
Don't gripe, get ripe
She shows off he's not her type with speckled spots and rot
crimson dots
A very blueberry not so hot to trot
Down the street, a battle fought under her feet

La Vie En Rope
03:54
|
|||
Victims of pigmentation
The black sheep of the herd
Blackbirds caged by crows, though
Speak no words
White out on the pages
Of her history
Mem'ries dashed by lashes
Stashed safely
Pining to be as free as her service to he
Misery loves company
And good ole boys seem friendly
As any
Wolves in sheep's clothes look tasty
To other wolves
She cooks up revenge, and serves it cold
A dark spring is in bloom
A shadow with a shady past
And now marooned
All the skeletons from before exhumed
His untrue colors show
He's at the end of someone else's rope
And wishes that the hounds had been more slow

Life's Unfairy
02:22
|
|||
She faired better before farewell
You tinker, tinker bell
But how to, who can tell?
The year's a curse that casts a spell
The normal now perverse
And that which once flew fell
Your spark's dusty too
A wilting wand leads to a hex life
Old anew
An efeblume with siren's call
The spring after your fall
And proof your sum's not all
And with your song the wishes grant
Enchanting with their chant
Making them can their can'ts
The light's fading dim
But twilight might just be the right light
You'll shine in!
Your fairy dust turns to ferrous rust now
The wishing well's run dry
Well, wishes you'll try but
Your light delights....
You -- what's missing in this puzzle piece
Once fed you're now the feast
Your magic's masterpiece
A glowing vial of their charms
A belle for their alarms
A long gone song reharmed
Your smile mends their wings
Both their caterpillars take flight
As you sing

Mr. Wright
02:58
|
|||
maybe he won't sell the bicycle shop
his dreams of flight won't amount to a hop
head in the clouds feet glued to jealous ground
conducts a parade known to start when it rains
facing a love that Newton's apple banned
to leave the heart land and on her heart land
fighting for flight but he's no Mr. Wright
from sea level what's in her's so far from sight
and so he prays
for windier days
take to the skies on a heavenly claw
his earthly binds taken to with a saw
a fatal game of twister to catch her eye
though he missed her he tried
once he kissed her he died
blue skies gained their reigns on the rain
his complex machine now something we call plain
she might come back but he'd still be the same
both return to from which they came
blue skies gained their reigns on the rain
his complex machine now something we call plane
she might come back but he'd still be the same
both return to from which they came

Though a play could explain,
What I want in its name,
To build a lead actress,
Comes off as profane.
More than a bedding,
What I want is a wedding,
But the road to your heart's a process,
Sought in Vain.
Just to hold your hand,
Could make any place grand,
Your smile makes the west bank,
seem like disney land.
Lest it sound cheesy,
You make my hear briesy,
You razzle and dazzle me,
My little cram.
Beyond infatuation, A D-Day invasion,
Of laughter storms when you're around.
And how your troops fire off,
Charms which I don't tire off.
You've left the sorrows gagged and bound.
How the rainbow hates you,
Cause you've killed off the blue,
Rest in peace ROYGBIV,
You're no longer true.
Though life lasts a minute,
It's best with you in it.
To know you're the one's
Simple as 2+2 (=4)
Pedestrian affairs,
Light up like solar flares,
When you're out with this ball of gas.
And If I could plan it,
I'd upgrade your planet,
By granting it the ring it lacks.
Like a vampire strayed,
From his coffin by day,
In love life's the sunshine,
That usher's decay.
Before words and clashes,
Turn our love to ashes,
My bat, bat your lashes,
And then fly away.

Universe And Chorus
05:24
|
|||
she made her way through the milky way
an interstellar stray
spends her days voyaging through the night
from privileged birth now she's down to earth
the first for whom I'm cursed
with this thirst to make her my last
gravity leaves when she's by me
I bounce up and downtown
like a flea
but suddenly a tractor beam of smiles pulls me in
and with a grin
I go off to a place south of Saturn
where life's more than trite carbon based matter and we're
two bits of dust that with joy caved to lust
after we kissed Jupiter's big spot blushed
off to a land left untouched Earth's beauty seemed so hushed
like the roadways we take to the skies
Mercury and Mars are only red light
black holes not pot holes and no cops at all
none in sight
it's dawn and we arrive
There's toxic fumes and plumes of cyanide
the gas seems cleaner on the other side
oh, my constellation lacked a star
lost in cosmo slums afar

Unstitched
04:03
|
|||
A first
For second tries
She closed her eyes
And spied despite what's hidden
By the hide
Jailed
Behind the veil
Lost in the mail
The sentiments she tried
On
If only for size
Otherwise
Mother lied
Boycotting the boy's cut proved so
Oh, who could know
Barbie might crush
G.I Joe
Unstiched by the "seems"
Scopolamine dreams
Her birthright wrong from the beginning
The ennui of Venus envy
At birth doctors saw
Her genesis quoi
Entombed in the cells graced by linen
Yet so far, despite the cigar
The calm after the stork
Is rather short if your lucks poor
And left to question Y
Your dreams marked with x's
Oh, they came to life when she died
There's no clear winner
In nuclear war
But scorched earth seems more fertile
Than what was before
The roaches march proud on the floor
Even with lights on
Unstiched by the "seems"
Scopolamine dreams
Her birthright wrong from the beginning
The ennui of Venus envy
At birth doctors saw
Her genesis quoi
Entombed in the cells graced by linen
Yet so far, despite the cigar
True in
The ruins
Of a village
Best left pillaged
Wounds that only
Lead to the
Heart that once beat her away
But today
